My little girl planted, with a significant amount of help from Daddy, a runner bean at a bank holiday children’s event. I was pretty amazed to see how much it grew in a single day (the start point represents 3 days growth from first appearing), so thought I’d set up my camera to record it time-lapse. Frames are taken 5 minutes apart. I don’t have a power lead for my camera so the number of frames was limited by my battery ‘s power. I may try again another day with a fully charged battery.
I thought it was pretty interesting how much it moves, so thought I would share.

I had to download some Windows Media plugin thing to try to see this.
My poor computer is now tainted with microsoft evil.
And, inexplicably, it still won’t load.
Do you have any other types of video file? Pretty please?
I’ve uploaded it to a video sharing site and will embed that video once it’s onine/approved or whatever they want to do with it. Hopefully it will be there soon…

Hooray, I can see it now. How long did your camera last for / what time frame is it? Crazy how much it wiggles around…
Almost exactly 3hrs. First frame: 08:39:24. Last frame: 11:39:25.
I imagine it would go a while longer if I’d charged the battery before starting. It was probably a little low on juice from using it a Corpus / St Hughs Ball.
