Rather than giving up anything for Lent, I decided to do something a bit more proactive. The purpose of fasting is to replace it with prayer and time-with-God. To give myself a fighting chance of success in doing something proactive I thought I’d include photography.
My aim is to go through the bible at a rate of about 1 book per day and pick a character from the book to study. I may skip books as there are more books than days in Lent. And I may repeat books if I can’t find anyone I want to look at in a particular book. Then having studied that character I’ll take a photo related to them and write something about them/the photo/general woffle.
