I’ve been holding off writing this post for a while for a few reasons. The main one is that Hazel, the bride, was setting up a wedding planning business after their wedding and I wanted to be able to link this post to her website. I won’t go as far as recommending masterpiece weddings since the only experience I have of her wedding planning ability is of seeing her own wedding. Although, that was clealry very well planned, since she booked me as a photographer!
Hazel and Ran got married at Worton Park, Cassington, in June 2012. They opted for my half day coverage, to include the ceremony and the beginning of the reception. Hazel particularly ask me to concentrate coverage on the details for her planning business, their kids, and on the living statue who was a surprise feature for their guests. You can judge for yourself in the client photos section whether I met this remit.
All went very smoothly on the day photography wise. Although the weather was less than ideal, the rain held off for the formal photos. The thing I’ll remember most from this wedding was that, as the meal began, I found myself being stalked by a group of pint-sized James Bonds. Amazing what foam-dart-gun gifts from the bride and groom can do to 8 year old boys in dinner jackets!
